PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: July 27, 2026
Entity: Rogue DMA ("Company", "we", "us", or "our")
1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains how Rogue DMA collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit our website, use our community forums (including our Discord server), and use our proprietary software, including Direct Memory Access (DMA) firmware, custom bootloaders, and associated user-mode applications (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the site or use our software.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Due to the nature of our Services and the strict licensing requirements necessary to prevent unauthorized distribution, piracy, and reverse engineering, we collect specific categories of data, some of which require deep system-level access.
A. Personal Data
When you register for an account or make a purchase, we collect:
- Email address
- Forum username and/or Discord User ID (Snowflake ID)
- Transaction IDs and purchase history
Note: We do not process or store direct payment information (e.g., credit card numbers). All transactions are processed through third-party cryptographic payment gateways or merchant of record providers (e.g., Sellix, Stripe).
B. Hardware and System Information (Telemetry & DRM)
To enforce our single-machine licensing model (Hardware ID or "HWID" locking) and protect our intellectual property from tampering, our client software and firmware collect the following system-level data upon injection or execution:
- Hardware Identifiers (HWID): Including but not limited to Motherboard Serial Numbers (SMBIOS), CPU identifiers, MAC addresses, Storage Drive Volume Serial Numbers, and PCIe device IDs (specifically for DMA hardware validation).
- System Configuration: Operating system build version, kernel patch status, loaded drivers, IOMMU status, and Secure Boot state.
- Anti-Tamper Telemetry: Information regarding running processes, active debuggers, hypervisor presence, and modified memory regions that indicate an attempt to reverse-engineer, dump, or crack our software.
C. Usage and Network Data
- IP Addresses (logged upon authentication to our licensing servers to prevent account sharing).
- Connection timestamps and software version numbers.
- Crash dumps (which may inadvertently contain fragments of system memory at the time of the crash).
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Licensing and Authentication: To verify that you have a valid, unexpired subscription and that the software is being used on the authorized, HWID-locked machine.
- Security and Anti-Piracy: To detect and automatically ban accounts attempting to reverse-engineer, crack, or distribute our firmware/software. System telemetry is actively analyzed to detect unauthorized debuggers or memory dumping tools.
- Service Delivery: To dynamically stream encrypted offsets, firmware updates, and security patches directly to your machine.
- Enforcement: To enforce our Terms of Service (ToS), including blacklisting HWIDs and IP addresses of users who violate our rules.
4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We hold your privacy in high regard. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. However, we may share information in the following situations:
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share data with vendors who assist us with server hosting, DDoS protection (e.g., Cloudflare), and payment processing.
- Legal Obligation: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency). Note: Because we operate primarily via cryptocurrency and collect minimal traditional PII, our ability to identify you legally may be limited to your IP address and Discord ID.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data, including HWID databases and active licenses, may be transferred.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your account information (Email, Discord ID) for as long as your account is active.
- HWID and Security Bans: If your account is banned for attempting to crack our software, your HWID, IP address, and associated identifiers are stored indefinitely in our security blacklist to prevent future access.
- Transaction Logs: Retained for up to 5 years for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.
6. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Our licensing servers utilize end-to-end encryption, and HWIDs are mathematically hashed in our database. However, no data transmission over the Internet or wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
7. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
- Exceptions to Deletion: We reserve the right to deny requests for the deletion of HWID and IP data if that data is actively being used to enforce a ban or protect our intellectual property from malicious actors (under the basis of Legitimate Interest).
- To exercise your rights, you must open a support ticket via our official Discord server. We reserve the right to verify your identity before processing any request.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Services are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
